OUR STORY
IT ALL STARTED WITH LACTASARI
Lactasari was originally an Indonesian dairy farm, opened in 1968 and run by a Dutch couple in Bandung, West Java. Having no children, they left it to Dorothy’s father, who inherited it in 1982. Having studied veterinary medicine and agriculture in Germany, he was well placed to tend the beautiful Holstein Friesian cows and Etawa goats that allowed him to produce fresh and flavoured milks, kefir yoghurts, colostrum and ice cream. The farm, which also offered food courts, a café, restaurant and petting zoo, was open to the public.

MOVING TO AUSTRALIA
Five years after Dorothy’s father passed away in 2013, her family moved to Australia to help her relaunch the business on new soil. It began its re-location on February 3, 2020 and will soon be launching an exciting new range of products under the Lactasari brand.
